Art, Meditation, Buddha Dharma
Visual Artist, Writer, Teacher, Mentor, Suffolk and Online

Zangmo Alexander’s visual art, meditation, writing, teaching and mentoring practice has its roots in her personal history, including being a Buddhist nun for seven years, and long term awareness meditation training in Tibetan Buddhist practices. It investigates suffering, self and identity as they relate with innate, timeless awareness, love and compassion.

Using mixed media painting, drawing, print making, book making, photography and creative writing on intimate and larger scales, Zangmo Alexander explores her experience of confusion and darkness to increase insight into the nature of mind and it’s unchanging essence. Awareness meditation and art are ways to investigate, understand and express the visible and invisible, leading to healing and a more profound understanding of self and other.

Zangmo holds a Masters Degree in Fine Art and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education from Cambridge University UK. Her art work is in public and private collections.

She accepts commissions from public and private collectors, lectures, give talks on both secular and Buddhist aspects of creativity and meditation and welcomes studio visits by appointment to view and purchase art work.

As a fully qualified art educator and mindful meditation creativity coach/mentor Zangmo Alexander offers one-to-one, personalised meditation and creative art tuition, creative art retreats, meditation and art workshops, confidential life coaching and mindful creativity mentoring in her studio in Botesdale, Suffolk, UK and online.
